Offered for sale is one (1) early production WW1 Mauser German production Model 1914 7.65mm (32acp) pistol. S/N 14425 all matching. Pistol has the large Mauser banner on the sideplate, and a heavy one line address/serial number. Pistol is Imperial Marked forward of rear sight. Comes with a vintage holster, and a second slotted square front floorplate magazine. A slotted square front magazine is the gun. Has approximately 95% original finish, bore has strong rifling w/minor frosting. Grips are very good plus condition with no chips or cracks. Serial numbering of Mauser 1914 7.65mm is sequential from the 1914 Humpback forward. The estimated range for the Humpback Model is S/N 1-2850, early 1914 Production (two line slide inscription) is S/N 2850-13500, and the 1914 WW1 production is 13500-290100. With a S/N of 14425, this example is just 925 guns from the estimated beginning of WW1 production. For sale in the lower 48 states USA.
