Description:
This is a nice example of a Mauser HSC that was issued to the Nazi Police Force in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper Nazi police “Eagle L” proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Comes with two period-correct magazines and a period-correct un-marked brown leather holster (it looks like the belt loop was replaced and re-stitched). It also comes with a set of rare late-war bakelite grips, correct for 1944. The gun has retained roughly 75% of its blued finish. There is splotchy wear and discoloration and wear throughout, most noticeable on the straps and underside of the frame. There is noticeable scratchy wear along the the round edges of the slide. There is also wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. The bore is mint – shiny with strong rifling.
