“Mauser S/42 1938 Date P.08 Pistol Rig (PR57151)
This 1938 Mauser S/42 P.08 9mm Parabellum (9mm Luger) rig comes with the pistol, holster, spare magazine, and loading/takedown tool. The gun has approx. 97% blue with light ecge wear. With the exception of the magazines, it is all matching including the grips and firing pin. The 4″” barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The cahmber is dated 1938 and the toggle is marked S/42. The right side of the receiver has the drooped eagle firing proof and two eagle over 83 Waffenamt army acceptance stamps. The checkered grips are fine with the right having a ding at the center rear. The correct type aluminum base magazine is eagle over 63 inspected but is numbered to another gun. The action functions correctly. The very good holster is marked on the rear WILH. BRAND over HEIDELBERG with 1936 to the right and an eagle over WaA204 Waffenamt acceptance stamp below the date. The holster stitching and straps are sound and the stitching still retains its original white color. The spare aluminum base magazinne is also eagle over 63 inspected but is numbered to another gun.
