Police Mauser Model 1914 Rig – Two Matching Mags
This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1914 issued to the German police force in the late 1920’s. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown U” proofs. It also has a “S.P.L” police unit marking on the front strap. The gun comes with a rare period-correct holster and two original police-numbered matching magazines. There is a name written on the inside of the holster and an ink stamp that appears to read “Richard Paul”. There is also a light “S.P. 30” stamp on the inside of the closure strap. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the high edges of the slide, and along the top round edge of the slide. Very minor thinning on the front strap. Comes with a very nice period-correct wood grip. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and tiny pin-pricking here and there.
Handgun Caliber: .32 ACP (7.65x17mm Browning SR)
