Rare Police Mauser P.38
This is a rare Mauser P.38 that was issued to the German Police in 1944. It’s Eagle/F marked, one of only 1,500 produced. It’s all matching numbers but the finish was re-done at some point as the pistol is all blued but these always featured dual-tone or phosphate finishes. It does not appear to be a dipped gun, however, as our magic cloth was unable to remove finish. The trigger spring is also in the white, but the locking block is blued, so a bit of an oddity. It’s in great shape though, and fully functional. Excellent grips with only minor handling wear. Bore has a little frost in the grooves but shiny with strong rifling. Mauser magazine.
Handgun Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO)
